I had an amazing opportunity to get onboard the Pacific Aria and see for myself the differences this recommissioned shop from Holland America had to offer!
As far as it goes with the most improved cabin feature - BATHS! Wonderful marble sep up so different to the plasticy cubicle feel I've experienced before whilst cruising.
I am particularly impressed with the modern but casual feel of The Panrty, gone are the days of lining up at the buffet! The bars were again modern and each had a different feel, the furnishings were well thought out and quirky. The casino felt modern and more spacious than on other ships also.
The deck area has a definite resort feel rather than a place to plant the deck chair. I would look at the pool areas on other ships though if I was taking a young family- it definitely felt more like an adult's space.
We had a wonderful meal at The Waterfront, which again had a modern feel as opposed to the 'white linen' look of before. The Chef's table was amazing and quite affordable at $95 per person- but don't miss Salt Grill of course!
